Over the past few years, we’ve had a variety of ways in which we celebrate the year that has just gone. We have had our award ceremony at a special venue like a hotel or even at another club. We’ve also tried in recent years having it immediately after the derby.

Why have we had a variety of venues? I guess the real reason for that is that we have struggled to find a time that is suitable for most clubs and people. End of year is a very busy time for nearly everyone. There are school and work commitments for all as well as a lot of family activities and then throw into the mix your own club activities. All of this makes it very difficult to plan for a time that is suitable for most people.

That is why we have over the last couple of years tried having this award ceremony after our final event of the year which is a fun event the Zone Derby Trebble.

Having it after the Zone Derby travel is not ideal as it doesn’t make the award seminary a special event all in itself. It looked like something just tagged on at the end however it does allow for as to plan an event that doesn’t require another specific date.

With all of this in mind, it has been decided to ask you our members what you would prefer for the end of the year activity. So below is a short file that we would ask you to fill in so that we can gauge the interest for the event and your preference for how and when that event should be.
